Wisconsin H.O.R. District 4 speaks loudly! Incumbent (D)Gwen Moore wins by landslide

As predicted by almost everyone with any knowledge of politics, Incumbent represenative (D) Gwen Moore retains her seat in the House of Represenatives in a landslide victory.  In defense of Dan Sebring, his campaign came the closest to defeating Gwen Moore in all her elections to date.  The results are as posted below:

(D)Gwen Moore 69% with a total of 143,531 votes
(R)Dan Sebing    30% with a total of   61,531 votes
(I) Eddie Ayyash   1% with a total of     2,802 votes

The margin of victory has to be correlated to two factors;  the discrepancy in funds (D)Gwen Moore had over the other candidates.  And the amount of experience in politics that Moore has over the two challengers.  The two challengers have no experience in politics versus Gwen Moore's 15+years  serving Wisconsin.  Money wise, Moore had $400,000+ over the combined total of her candidates.  Which she earned by continously serving her constituents well for those 15 years.

                                 dissatisfaction with both Rep-Dem politics.

In regards to this election, the only chance of Incumbent (Dem)Gwen Moore losing would be by being caught in some kind of scandle. She has almost $500K to promote her campaign versus about 35K split between the other two candidates.  She also works for a district that is rated 4th in the United States per capita in low income/poverty level families, and serves them families strongly with promoting Medicaid/Badger care as well as many social programs promoting job training for unemployed low income families.  She proudly runs on her voting record of Universal Healthcare and the federal Stimulis plan and locally strongly opposes the KMR commuter railway plan until MCTS budgeting gets worked out. She has also done human rights protest in Darfur, Sudan to draw attention to human rights violations in the Darfur/Sudan conflict.  As for her voting record, she seems to vote the party line, with the exceptions of a handful of bills that never left the committee table.  With all this being said, her opponents have almost no political experience and even less political connections.  It is this reason that I come to the opinion that Incumbent Gwen Moore will handily maintain her seat in the House of Represenatives on November 2nd.

Nice little article on how and why the Incumbent usually maintains their position.

http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolitics/104646064.html

This is a good article that shows the mountain that candidates have to over come to unseat an incumbent.  Represenative Gwen Moore has nearly $500k to use for campaigning to maintain her seat versus her challenger Dan Sebring's $28k.  The article also mentions a few of the issues that are being debated like unemployment, and foreclosures.  There is also a few mud-slinging attacks at the end of the article over finances amongst the canidates.  Which will get worse as the election draws closer to election day.  My favorite part of these articles is reading the comments by the readers.  You can learn alot of truths and falses by reading these posts.  Incumbent Gwen Moore has attacked challenger Sebring about him being unable to manage his own finances, however a reader searched into Rep. Gwen Moore's financial history and found she too has had financial problems of her own. See below, posted by a Jsonline reader in comments section.  Just another way to dig deeper into our candidates histories.  I did not follow the link nor did i check the challengers history because i believe he has admitted to a bankruptcy and an issue with back taxes in this article and others.

Independent Candidate Eddie Ahmad Aybash campaign pledge

Political parties are not about serving the American people anymore. They have lost sight of what is important and no longer clearly recognize their goals. They should be a means by which a candidate might have assistance in getting elected and should not be used to launch philosophical platforms or influence the politician in any way other than to help them avoid mistakes and offer advice when needed.

  My fellow citizens,

You should not vote for someone based on their flashy website design or televised campaign ads, because they're simply the product of spending dollars. Worthy candidates are individuals who hold values of Honor, Dignity, Respect, Honesty, Trust, and Commitment true and viable to themselves and to others. As your independent representative in the U.S. Congress I will work very hard and spare no effort to address the issues that concerns you the most. I will proudly serve the American people and only the American people, no special interest groups or Lobbyists. I cannot and will not be bought.

'Eddie' Ahmad Ayyash  for U.S. Congress
It's about people, not Politics                          Vote for positive change, and help decide America's  future.

Independent candidate Eddie Ahmad Ayyash Bio

About Ahmad Ayyash,

I believe that every individual  has the potential to influence others in a positive way. I know that for one to succeed they have to be part of a successful community.  America is the melting pot of this world, America is great because different people from different backgrounds and different cultures together form our great American society.

I was born and raised in Amman, Jordan. I have lived in the United States since 1989. I come from a middle class family in which both parents worked very hard to provide for their children. I learned very early in life the importance of working hard and to never give up because with hard work and commitment everything is possible.

I have decided to run for this office because I want to be part of the solution. In recent years, the government and our politicians chose to ignore many important issues that affect the lives of many American citizens. They looked the other way hoping that these problems will go away, But the problems persisted and it seems they will be around unless we do something to resolve them. We cannot ignore our problems,  ignorance is not an excuse.

My desire to improve myself and  the lives of others around me have steered me to go back to college to continue my higher education after 14 years  of absence. I went back to Milwaukee Area Technical College to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering. I am a strong believer in education, education is the basis of every great civilization.  As a father, I'm very concerned about the future of our children and the quality of their education. It's our responsibility to make positive changes that will improve our lives and secure better future for many generations to come.
